Love Your Neighbor
Our faith teaches us to welcome people generously and serve them well. We want every guest to feel cared for from the moment they turn onto the drive.

Refuge Ridge Ranch sits on five hundred acres in Primm Springs, Tennessee, a place our family has been blessed to call home. We did not set out simply to build a business. We wanted to care for this land well and open it to people who need rest, time together and a reminder of what matters.
What started as a family dream has grown into a working retreat: a ridge house that sleeps ten with valley views, a timber cabin called Sunset Lodge, a 10,000 square-foot event barn with ready-made wedding, corporate, wellness and custom packages, and nine glamping A-frames on the way. Every structure was placed with intention, close enough to share, spaced enough to breathe.
Our faith is at the heart of how we welcome people. We believe hospitality is one of the simplest ways to love our neighbor: prepare a place with care, share what God has given us and make room for people to rest. Some of the best days here begin quietly: coffee on the porch, mist in the hollow and nowhere else to be.

Our faith teaches us to welcome people generously and serve them well. We want every guest to feel cared for from the moment they turn onto the drive.
We see these five hundred acres as a gift from God. Caring for the ridges, pastures, ponds and hardwood forest is part of the work we have been entrusted to do.
Our menus follow the seasons. We cook with local growers, our own kitchen garden and whatever the ridge provided that week.
Each cabin, house and gathering place is set apart, giving families room to celebrate and quiet travelers room to truly rest.

Refuge Ridge Ranch is home to the Allison family. We are Christians, and our faith shapes the way we care for this land and the people who visit it. From the first hello at the door to the last ember in the fire pit, our hope is that you feel genuinely welcomed, well cared for and able to rest.
We live on the land, raise our family here and consider it a blessing to share it. Whether you come for a wedding, a quiet weekend or time with the people you love, we would be honored to host you.
The Allison family lives and works here. From the first hello to the last goodbye, we are the people answering the phone and preparing for your visit.
Private dinners, anniversary plates and oven-ready meals come from a kitchen that treats every meal as part of the memory.
Weddings, corporate retreats and weekend buyouts run on their watch, logistics handled, fires lit, and views preserved.
Refuge Ridge Ranch is guided by a small board and supported by a circle of investors who believe in this dream and steward it with us. We are grateful for the people who pray for this place, give wisdom when it is asked for and help carry the work forward.
A small circle of advisors who help guide the vision, the land and the long-term plans for the ranch.
Partners who share our heart for hospitality and help bring each season of the dream to life.
What stands here today is only the beginning. We are praying, planning and working toward a place that can host around 300 guests on any given night, half the farm modern rustic, the other half fairytale. We want to build with care and imagination, not so people can lose themselves, but so they have room to find themselves again.
The Ridge House, Sunset Lodge, the event barn, the corporate center and the Reader's Escape are welcoming guests, and the first glamping A-frames are taking shape on the hillside.
The glamping circle is complete, nine A-frames around the shared kitchen, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, and the Rest. Write. & Record. studio is drawing songwriters and artists from Nashville and beyond.
Every cabin, lodge and barn on the ridge has a full calendar, weddings in the event barn, retreats in the corporate center, songwriters in the studio, and our concierge experiences are in full swing: trail rides, farm-to-table dinners, stargazing nights and saunas under the stars. Word of mouth does what advertising never could, and guests start planning their return before they've left the driveway.
Our quaint European fairytale village is finished, a winding cobblestone street lined with a bookstore, coffee shop, bakery and alehouse, a small hotel, lodgings above the shops, and one or two bookable venues for weddings and parties. Follow the cobblestone path through the woods and you arrive at our farming fields, home to more than ten storybook burrow cottages, our own fairytale hollow-hill homes, each one rentable for a stay straight out of a storybook. Walk the village, shop, sip, celebrate, and wander down to the burrows: a whole world to find yourself in.
Our 60-bedroom lodge and hotel opens its doors, rustic modern hardwood throughout, with an event space overlooking the gorgeous valley of Primm Springs, a beautiful indoor greenhouse garden at its center, an indoor pool and a fitness center. Weddings book out a season ahead, corporate retreats return every year, and the loyalty circle of repeat guests has become a small community of people who plan their whole year around a week on the ridge.
Around 300 guests any given night, on a farm that is half modern rustic and half fairytale: families in the houses, couples in the cabins, creatives in the studio, and celebrations in the barn, every one of them transported by something true.
Your refuge awaits.
Every guest who comes through our gate becomes part of this story. We are grateful to God for the dream and grateful to you for helping it grow.
Mornings on the ridge, dinners on the porch, and the light this place gets at golden hour. Tag #RefugeRidge and we may feature yours here.
